We stock a wide range of products including seeds, gloves, fleece, blood fish and bone, compost, Growmore, netting, string and bean poles, and much more, ee also order seeds and potatoes for you.

Our store is run by fellow gardeners, so please come and pay us a visit.

Opening hours : Sundays 9.00am to 12.00pm, Thursdays - 6.30pm to 8.00pm (April & May only)

10/02/25 - Potato orders

For those that have placed potato orders and not yet collected them they are waiting for you in-store.
All spare potatoes are now gone apart from some trial Apache variety.

Shallots, Red and white onions sets (spring planting) are ready to buy in store.
Price guidelines: 200g (approx 60) @ 85p | 400g (approx 120) @x £1.50

All seed orders are now ready for you to collect in store.

08/01/25 - Reminder : 2025 AGS Annual Membership renewal due

AGS Annual Membership is now due for renewal from the 1st January 2025, membership can be renewed as usual in the store during Sunday opening hours. Unfortunately, due to the rising running costs of the store we have, under great consideration, we taken the decision to increase the membership fee to £4.00. The store continues to provide a good range of products, value for money and expert advice, the AGS thank you for your continued support.
