If you love gardens, plants, nature and discovering new ideas, we’d love to welcome you to the Lindengate Festival of Art & Gardens, taking place from Friday 28th to Monday 31st August at Lindengate Charity in Wendover.

Set within six acres of beautiful therapeutic gardens, the festival offers four days of inspiration, exploration and plenty to enjoy — It's an air fair with a difference; including a very special horticultural programme alongside our fabulous art.

Come and Explore the Gardens

Join our daily garden tours at 11am and 2pm, offering the chance to discover the different areas of Lindengate’s remarkable gardens and learn more about the work that goes into creating and maintaining them.

You’ll also be among the first to see the brand-new Japanese Water Garden, an exciting new addition to the Lindengate gardens.

Meet the Gardeners

We have some wonderful garden-focused talks and conversations planned throughout the weekend.

Katie, Head Gardener at Chequers, will be joining us on Monday afternoon to talk about her work and experiences before taking part in our rather less formal:

“Not Gardeners’ Question Time”

Monday, 2.00–3.00pm

A lively and informal gardening Q&A with Katie, Andy, CEO of Lindengate and Head Gardener, Katie Horgan, Lindengate’s Horticulture, Site & Conservation Lead, and other members of the team.

The session is free to attend but must be booked in advance, so garden enthusiasts can bring along their questions and join the conversation.

And every day at 12 noon, join Andy and Jacqui for informal, drop-in garden chats. No booking required — just come along, listen, ask questions and enjoy a chat with people who are passionate about Lindengate and its gardens.

And Then There’s the Art…

Alongside the gardens, the festival brings together 50+ talented artists and makers, creating a feast for the eyes throughout the site.

You can browse paintings, sculpture, ceramics, photography, textiles and much more, meet the artists, take part in workshops, enjoy live music and refreshments — and perhaps discover that perfect piece to take home.

£8 Entry – All Weekend

Entry is just £8 - book here, giving you access to the festival and gardens throughout the weekend.

Children under 16 go free.

And there’s an added feel-good factor: 50% of all entrance fees are donated directly to Lindengate Charity, supporting its life-changing work using gardening, nature and friendship to improve mental health.

So come for the gardens, stay for the art, join the conversations — and perhaps leave with a few new gardening ideas too!
